Some of you should have received an update from me. if you haven't, hold tight. Rest assured your rack will get to you soon. I'm working my butt off to get these updates over to you guys as soon as I receive them. Please don't kill the messenger.
Reason for increased production times:
The big issue started with Gobi's raw materials supplier running out of the material Gobi specifically uses for their racks. This screwed Gobi over and of course that trickles down to us (longer wait). Good news is raw material issues are taken care of and everything is back on course. We'll start seeing a bunch of good news from now on. Don't let one little hiccup in raw materials set you back from getting the rack you really want. Don't settle.
btw- These racks are handmade in the USA.

As been said here and in countless other threads - its not the delay that annoys us its the complete lack of communications and follow up. Lets call a spade a spade and stop making excuses for them - they make a great product but suck butt on customer service. Shame on them!

Great, thanks for the update and explanation. It would have been nice for them to let you/us know about the delay when it was happening and not after everything was settled and racks started shipping.

Man hope it comes soon. The good news from RiDE sounds promising so I'm hoping they will all be shipped soon.
I just hope everything is right with mine, I had a good deal of custom work done and I wouldn't want to have to deal with them if something was off...

Worth the wait
Hi All,
I know what you're going through. I waited much longer than I expected and was frustrated but just got my rack and can assure you its worth the wait. Can't post pics yet but will soon.

Why are you not a BajaRacks vendor? They get their **** out on time! Said my sunroof insert would ship today, anddddddd, it shipped today!
I would hate for you to get a bad rap for a vendor you have no control over. Two and three month lead times for a roof rack is insanity!
