Guys- Nothing new here. Apparently this is the way Gobi runs their business.

Same issues, same complaints- starting as early as page 4 with PhillyD2's post. The thread is 16 pages long BTW...

I love my Gobi, it's well made and functional. However, I've said it before and I will say it again- If they don't fix their customer service issues they will not survive. That'll be a shame!

Looks like my ladder is at my bud's warehouse. He'll pick it up tomorrow for me and we'll install it. Feels like the end of a journey of sort.

Sorry for the lack of update guys. There was nothing to report back with.

I just received an email from Sandra stating that everyone with backordered ladders should be expecting their ladder within the next week. All ladders have been shipped out.

Sunroof inserts are back ordered until next Friday.

There are 4 ladders in stock and ready to ship as of right now. If anyone is looking to order just a ladder, please let me know. The price is $215 shipped.

I will be gone on vacation all next week, what happens if my rack comes next week? Will the freight company hold the rack for me until I return? Or do I have to arrange for it to go somewhere else.


(All hypothetical and dependent on my rack actually shipping before then of course, I am just curious and would like to have a plan in place)

Rack should be in the process of being made, but thinking about buying the high-lift bracket so i'll have everything ready to go once the rack shows up. I understand it's a small part, but is there any kind of wait time for these or are the stocked?

mounted it on the truck, finally the journey is over.

order date was april 16, 2012. the receiving of my full order august 2, 2012.

total days it took to get my rack and ladder: 108 Days -- or -- 15 Weeks and 3 Days

Does anyone know if the height measurement of a T4R after stealth installed, as listed on the Gobi homepage, is for a Trail or Limited/SR5? The stock height of a Trail is Listed at 74.2, and the Limited/SR5 is 71.5. May seem trivial, but I'm considering a lift that is on sale tomorrow and I only have a few inches of play, but haven't received my rack yet.

IIRC the stealth adds 7" to the height of your truck from the high point of the roof.
