Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I was away all week camping for my birthday. Just finally got back to civilization a few hours ago.

I don't always have updates for you guys but when I receive them from Gobi I contact each of you privately. I do not post the updates publicly on this thread.

No worries, I talked to Gobi and they were able to accommodate my request for tabs for three light bars, one 20" in the middle and one on each side. They say the rack should ship within the next two weeks.

As far as lights go, I was originally leaning toward rigid, but as I do more research I think Baja Designs is the way to go. That would mean a 20" in the middle and two 8", one on each side. After talking to the guys at Baja I think the mounting will not be an issue. With the Baja Design lights you get the ability to run them at half power or in strobe mode both of which sound useful. Now, I have to start educating myself on the wiring aspect of all of this.

I ordered mine, April 24th from Trail Duty. I got an email from Gobi and Trail duty on May 7th (that is 2 weeks) saying that the rack has shipped.

I am supposed to receive it tomorrow or the day after.

Can the sunroof be used with the panels in place or do they need to be removed before the sunroof is placed in the vent position?

There is no rack above the sunroof so yes. You can however buy an insert for the section above it if you need more rack space.

You can mount lights to a standard rack. A lot of us just want to run a single bar up front so we got our racks made custom. Some know the exact bar and have tabs and/or mounts made specifically for them.

No its not. That deal ended first of the year I think. The new deal is $1485 shipped with the ladder. Its changed at the beginning of the thread. I just wasn't the ladder. Was fortunate enough to get a rack from a former member.
