Wow,

There are some fantastic shots of the snow, 4runners and OL bumpers!

Got my bumper installed with the help of OL a couple weekends ago.
Jimmy also installed my sliders for me!

Hats off to Outdoor Logic for making this bumper. It looks awesome.

OK I will be at Tierra Del Sol in Truckhaven (close to Ocotillo Wells and Salton Sea)this weekend. Then the plan is to drop my truck off to Jimmy on Tuesday the 8th. I will be out of town and can leave my truck with Jimmy a few days. This will give him time to take some measurements and start a Mock Up. I will start a new thread once there are pictures and progress worthy of the build.

Well I ended up leaving early last week and wasnt able to drop my truck off. Rest assured Jimmy and I are working out a schedule to get it in there. IT will be sooner then later that is for sure.

Questions- Anyone have a pick without the tubes?
Son has a couple inch suspension lift Old Man EMU brand. Any trouble with sag with the weight of this bumper and winch? I assume you can order in accordance with body lift for the right fit?

Brian- can order it currently for stock or 1" body lift since that is what majority of people are running. I don't think Jimmy has worked out mounting for 1.5" or 2" body lifts yet. As far as sag goes I am not sure once you put a winch in there you might get a little. I believe there was only one person that ordered without hoops and hopefully he will post up some pictures.

Thanks Pikeman! No body lift yet but going to do a 1" lift before replacing the front bumper. He crashed the front bumper and instead of an insurance claim it is a good time for an upgrade! I will have to take some pix of the dented bumper but here is one precrash. I think that bumper would look good on this black sport! arty:

I still have not been able to take my truck into Jimmy. I know he has had two major projects in the shop and not sure he has even been able to start working on his truck. I will post up when we get started on the rear.


Brian-I think the weight was posted on page 4 post 52. My bumper was 90lbs with full hoops and powder coating and lights.

So has anyone installed their winch yet. I bought a smilttybilt xrc8 and am not sure where I am going to put the celonoid box now that I have measured everything. Any thoughts from anyone who has already done an install. Jimmy said he might be able to help me in a week and a half. I am not being very patient on this one. The box is too tall to go on top by a 1/4 of an inch and the plug for the remote is on top of the celonoid box. Any ideas??? Does anyone have any pics?

Seems like the xrc8 is a pretty good choice for winches.
Did you get the winch installed with the OL front bumper?
