Does this bolt-on to a 4th Gen Runner with XREAS?

Sorry they mount on the frame where the XREAS lines run, so unless the XREAS is off the truck the sliders will not fit.

What benefits do the opor have over the metal tech and vice versa?

MT4x4 sliders feature a 3/16" formed body with internal support, built allot like a wing for an aircraft. Crazy strong but lighter weight. MT4x4 sliders then have a 1.5" tube on them for the two stage rub rail. All of the supports for the slider rub rails is done with tube. MT4x4 sliders are only available powdercoated.

OPOR sliders were built to keep the cost down and maintain performance. The biggest difference is the bodies are made from box tube. This is the industry standard for sliders and rightfully so since its very strong and low cost. Both ends are still ramped at 45* just like the MT sliders have always been (we wheel you do not want blunt leading or trailing edges off road!) but the bodies are kicked up at a slight angle that in turn angle up the rub rails. The Rub rails are 1.75" tube in the same two stage configuration as the MT4x4 sliders. All supports for the sliders are done with laser cut 1/8" plate with dimple die holes for added strength. Due to demand the OPOR sliders include the dimple die fill plate in the rear kick out. To keep cost options down OPOR sliders are offered in RAW with an option of adding powder coating.

All tubing used by MT for sliders are DOM-SRA tubing.

Previously there was a 2014 trail version to order. Now either a 2010+ trail and 2014 sr5. Want to make sure if I have a 2014 trail that I order the 2010+ trail version.

Yes your 2014 Trail is the 2010+ Trail slider. We updated the fit so its no longer a 2014 specific set.

Yes. All of the sliders we build are 100% bolt on. (ok we make a weld on FJ40 slider. Big jump from a 4th gen to a FJ40!)

Shipping is shipping, we do not mark up shipping at all. If one is looking for the lowest cost for shipping get raw sliders. They ship raw no box as two items and have the lowest cost over all. All powder coated sliders ship in two of the same size boxes at 60lbs each. Powder coated parts damage/scratch easy so extra care is used to pack them correctly. However that does not = low cost shipping. Again we only charge our direct costs for freight.

We have a customer we helped do a custom ICON lift on his GX460 down in Riverside CA. He has offered to drive up for us to make sliders for him. However for new development we like to use a local truck so we can make updates, verify fixtures etc. We just have not got to that stage yet. I know several of the GX460's have the KDSS system on them so that will have to be worked with. We will keep an eye out for a test truck to test the Prado 150 sliders on.

Agreed! I am not much of a gambler as well. I always say the ATM's in Vegas pay the best odds.

The main reason it's not sustainable as a small business. At this time we have one set of sliders on sale at 20% its our Tundra ones. Mainly since we have been sitting on 10 sets in inventory. However with a traditional old school Group Buy like what was ask for on by the members of T4R, we can increase the savings to the board members as the quantity ordered scales. We have a slight reduction in production cost when we increase the quantity of production. Of course our operating costs per sale stay the same. Our goal is to provide high performance products AND service at value, before, during and years later for our customers.

NOTE: We are building these right now, not waiting for the GB to end. However we do stress if we hit high numbers it can take 4-6 weeks to deliver. Those who chose powdercoated versions, these can add two weeks for powder coating and additional packaging. (We ship all powder coated sliders individually in custom made double wall boxes)

I was wondering if I want the sliders to be mounted up high and close to the body which sliders should I order for my 2014 SR5 with trail edition rocker panels ? Should I get the 2014+ SR5 or the 2014+ Trail edition ones ?

Earlier Gen 5 SR5 trucks have a skirt that hangs down at the rocker panel. Owners do take them off and install the Trail Rocker skirt on. This will increase your ground clearance to the same as a Trail edition truck in this area. If you do this then our Trail edition sliders will fit your truck and provide the maximum ground clearance.
