Group Buy - Strona Bull Bar for Gen4 (T&H Low Bull Bar)

Does the Eurotech from autoseattle have the cross bar? It doesn't in the pics on the website, but I wanted to make sure before I ordered.

Here's a pic of the Eurotech. It does not have the crossbar and it only has two attachment points, under the truck on the frame. The T&H low bull and the Strona, has four attachment points, two under the truck and two through the bumper grille on the bumper support. However, member Cleric has the Eurotech and said it held up well when someone backed up into him.

I'm going to stick with the Strona, because it seems more rigid with the two extra mounting points.

I am not willing to pay of $300 to have it now so I think that I am going to hold out and see if we can get the Strona ones. Do you guys think that if we contact Strona directly that they could direct us to maybe someone that does sell them? Or better yet see if we can do a direct buy from MFGR? I believe I saw their website someone online and I think it had their e-mail address. I will have to do some searching...

:iagree: I will wait, since it's the only style bar I like. And what I save will go towards HIDs. :biggrin2:

I guess I lost sight of that. I thought that we couldn't find any dealers to sell them to us. I didn't know the problem was that we didn't have enough people. Can we try and go to any other 4Runner sites to get others? This is the only one that I know of though...

There's Yotatech, but I think it's more geared towards gen 3 than 4th. I wonder if we can post this in General Discussion. I wanted to either ask Thai or a moderator. Usually double posting is a frowned upon practice. But I think in General Discussion, we'll get me traffic and hits on the thread.

It has the cross bar on it. Go to the first post on this thread and there is a drawing of it with the installation instructions. This will also show you how it attaches to your truck.

The crossbar does block the front plate somewhat.

Hm thats what I suspected, but I couldnt really find any pics of a 4runner with the license plate and the bar. Can anyone help me out so I could be certain?

I also live in NY and I don't see a problem with it as it doesn't cover up the entire license plate by any means. Your plate is still totally visible to read. I have seen many people in my area with bull bars that go over their plate and I don't see any problems with it. I am going for it. Just my 2 cents...

It will block, probably about the top 1/3 of the plate. You could probably use two metal strips and extend the plate lower. I will do that if it becomes an issue. In CA, front plates are required as well.

Thanks for those pics Uneek. I am still taking my chances with the cops. If they pull me over saying it obstructs the view then I will move it but until then, I will leave it. Thats banking on the fact that we actually get these bars...(crossing fingers):clap:

I would be much more interested if the lights mounted in between the bars. Does anyone have pictures of the Strona with the lights mounted below the bar?

Tonight I installed my T&H SS Eurotech Bar along with my Rhino Rear SS Bar and wow does it look good. Just finished up and it is dark so I will snap some pics in the next couple of days to show off my ride to everyone. Also I received my site sticker in silver and installed it on the rear window and it just sets everything off. The Eurotech bar went on with ease but had to loosen a few times to get everything lined up correctly. Guys waiting on the Strona bar, do not wait any longer, this bar looks great!!

If you are saving 200 by waiting three to four months you have alot more patience than I did. Once my mind is set on on something it is done. I mean if it is within reason. Me sending you 200 is just not reasonable. Good luck and post pics when you get yours installed.
