Guess I have to start a new mod

I'm a sub-hauler that gets contracted out to haul loads.
Presently I haul scrap metal to the ports, and was loaded up with a load to day. Jumped in the back of the trailer to make sure no sheet metal or anything was going to fly out down the road. Low and behold, I find this piece of scrap going to be shredded up in Oakland.

Pulled it out and started to think, looks like I might be able to use this and do a on board air system. To bad I couldn't find a working pump to go along with it.

Great spot you utilized there for your tank.
I still use the spare tire space for my spare, including the 32" m/t's.

Is it still easy to use and safe to operate?

It has 3 holes for the air supply/attachment/pressure relief sections and a drain on the bottom. It has a gouge where the hydraulic claw that grabbed it, in it, but, no puncher. Just the mounting bracket for the pump motor was broken at the weld.

No problem for me to remove and weld a mounting plate of some sort to fit where ever I decide to put it.

Not sure yet. I will find a place though.

Yea, I have a AC/DC stick welder and a wire feed welder w/ gas setup for mig welding also. Not a certified welder, but, can weld. Used to do custom wrought iron fences.

Just got a pair of steering knuckles on loan from another member to do a weld on gusset kit on them to install on my runner and give him my old ones.

Now he is asking if I would do a weld job for him on a set of Headers he has had for a year now. Probably will do it for him to be a nice guy and help a member out.
