GX budies, can see if yo uhave a realay please?

Hey guys and gals,
I know some of your trucks come with an electric fan in the front of the radiator. Not sure if its all or the ones with rear A/C. I wanted to know if you have a relay and/or fuse for it and where it is in the fuse box. A picture would be awesome.

And if you have an EWD for your truck that section would be a god send

No pictures but please see the attached diagram. The fan is triggered through an A/C pressure switch to a relay. I was looking to add this to the T4R awhile ago but never bothered.

thanks for the info it was a big help. Unfortunately they dont sell that pressure switch separately. I popped a hood on a GX at the dealer and the PN didnt come up on the computer. they sell the o-ring but not the switch lol. ours is a 2 wire theirs is a 4 wire as seen here. ignore the red arrows. we also dont have the pins in the relay location in the fuse box but its easy to add a relay and fuse.

I don't think there is a need to play with the pressure switch or circuit. I would tap the existing A/C clutch relay to fire a new fan relay. See our A/C circuit attached.
Let us know how you make out and do a writeup here when you pull it off. What is the fan worth?

It's not consistently warm enough up here to justify adding the fan alone (my A/C is plenty cold enough.) It would have more than likely been necessary to add if I changed out the main belt driven fan with an electric one but that hasn't happened yet.

I was interested in running the fan the way the factory runs it on the Lexus. Then I noticed regardless of the pressure switch, if the clutch isnt engaged then the fan wont run anyway. Compared to European cars where the fan just runs once you turn on the A/C switch regardless if the clutch is on or off at the time.

When I used to work at Lexus we were pulling of the back rubber pieces in the wheel wells to help the condenser. Not enough air was able to escape the engine compartment with the electric fan on and it was causing inefficiency in the A/C system. So i did the same and finally came around to adding the fan when i realized i had a brand new 10" sitting in the garage for the last 7 years lol.

By "rubber pieces", do you mean the floppy flaps rear and inboard by the frame?
So you're not using the Lexus part. Is this a generic 10" (ie. flex fan?)
