H20skier70's Build Thread

I'm thinking of just going black on all of it and keeping the upper factory paint. It's a little nerve racking because you won't know what it looks like until it's done and then you spent all of that money plus you can't un-do it( without out spending waaay more money)
Yeah, that's why I'll probably plasti dip it first to see what it looks like.

Messing around a little bit in SolidWorks yesterday. Its mostly a rough draft for now, I'm known for changing my mind like ten times before figuring out what I am going to do. Its supposed to be a hybrid bumper to house a winch and a front hitch receiver. It also is supposed to leave the option open to build a full bumper from, if I decide to later on. Also most importantly take a front end impact, equal to or better than stock. (shouldn't be an issue) One of my concerns would be the blocking of air flow, mostly for towing. If anyone has some insight on this I would appreciate it.

Right now it should weigh in at approx. 85lbs w/o the winch. Not too bad, but I would like to get the weight down a bit more.

similar to this guy's rig

Did some more changing around. I might be ordering the material in a couple weeks.
