So I decided to go figure out why my fog/driving lights aren't working. Crawled underneath my truck, the wire running into the male side of the connector was separated. Looks like a clean break, almost like someone cut it. Of course it broke right at the connector so there was nothing to solder it back together with. I tried pulling the connector apart so I could just run a new lead into the connector but it's in rough shape. 12 years worth of mud and road grime beat it up.
Any ideas where I can buy a replacement H3 socket with "pigtails" on it? I tried Advanced Auto Parts, Pep Boys, Napa and the Toyota Dealer. Toyota can get the plug but it doesn't have a lead on it. I don't want to try to squeeze 12 year old wires into the plug. I'd rather get one with a lead on it and soldier the wires together.
Appreciate any help.
