Hey everyone,
As my title says I am finally back to driving another 4runner. I previously drove a gold 07 sr5 for a few years, but had to hand it down to my brother when I went to college. I drove a BMW 540i for a few years, and it was a great time driving a 6speed, but it gave me way too many problems.
Unfortunately my brother crashed, rolled, and totaled the beloved sr5, and with insurance money he got a 07 galactic grey. I have driven it a little bit, but it is nowhere near as nice as our old one. Luckily when he crashed he crawled out the sunroof with just a scratch on his foot and our family has been die hard runner fans ever since.
A few days ago I was lucky enough to pick up an 08 Salsa Red SE, and so far I am thrilled to be driving it. One owner, and whoever it was either kept it spotless clean, or completely replaced the carpet interior when he sold it. I am not sure about the red color, but so far I think I am going to enjoy it. I am wondering about a few mods for the distant future, but so far I think I would like a small lift, some all-terrain or bigger tires, and maybe an LED interior light swap if I am up to it. I am going to try to keep the truck mostly stock, but I am meticulous about keeping my cars spotless clean, washed and waxed all the time.
I am glad to be a part of the 4runner team again and I have attached a few pictures to show ya'll the journey so far.
PS. Anyone else out there got clean looking Salsa Red Pearl runners. I want to have an idea for different mods for the future how they look already!
