Halo headlights

Hey guys, I have a 99 4runner and am looking to get some halos for it. I don't know where to start though. Any help would be appreciated and if someone could link me to a good pair that'd be great.

It's easy and it isnt at the same time... If I were you I would buy this kit:

Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc

All you have to do is select the shroud type you like the most and then use the recommended size halo for that shroud. And you can find this info by looking here:

The Mini H1 system is a complete bolt in, so there is no cutting involved. You do have to bake the headlights still but since ours are glass lenses it is really easy just throw it in the oven on 350 for 5-7 min.

I know some people will tell you to go FX-R with the projectors, but the extra cost and work doesnt make it worthwhile, If i were to do it again I would go mini H1 because I could litterly have them installed and be driving the truck again in under 2 hours (I have done a few pairs though lol, will take most the better part of a day lol).

Yep, and the halos are just an extra option you can select when adding your stuff to the cart.

The second link with all the shrouds was just to show you your options, shrouds are included in the kit.

I would say the headache of the fxr's are worth it over the old mini's...

i havent seen any new output pictures of the newer mini's, but if they really are as good as the fxr's then hey, go for it!

They have come a long way, truthfully I cant see a difference between mini 6.0's and FX-R's. The cutoff is amazing on the 6.0's and the output is much better than it was. They naturally will be slightly less output because they are 35w vs 50w but they are still miles ahead of the stock headlights and the difference in output between fx-r and mini doesn't justify the extra work anymore.....

Well thats good. BTW OP if you are planning on doing this and dont want to deal with the actual retrofitting process, i might be in the mood to make myself a new pair of headlights using ls460s... so i MIGHT sell mine.
