Is anyone interested in getting together sometime? Planning to run some orv trails or head down to OBX? Bald mountain has a great trail and the dunes in corova are pretty fun.

Lets go get some mud on the tires! Dont be that guy with the mall crawler!

Bald mountain is in jefferson national forrest. Im pretty sure its nearly equidistant from nova than it is to hampton roads. I dont think it would be to much of a hike to meet up (possibly outside Charlottesville) out there and tackle the trail for the day.

If enough people are interested, the trail has primitive camp sites along it and we can circle the wagons and make a weekend of it.

I'm in Norfolk, and would be up for a trip to OBX some time.

Mid Atlantic Overland Society (on Facebook) has a trip next Friday Nov 10th to do some camping and trails. They meet on Friday at 5pm in Bedford, which is about a 4 hour drive from here.
