She hit the nail on the head. We have also discovered some trails around Earlysville just north of Charlottesville. And I used to live right off of the trails that are just west of Harrisonburg.

There are a good number of trails in VA. They just all happen to be on the other end of the state from Hampton Roads.:dammit:

There's also a offroad park in Suffolk. I havent been there yet. Google Starr Motors Offroad Park. Doesnt look like they're open all the time. Next event is March 24th! I will be there =)

George Washington seems a good distance. Thanks for the heads up though on the Starr Motors park. A friend of mine is in town that week...who isn't much the off-roading type, otherwise I would be there.

Help me with where to go offroad around Hampton Roads.

I was happy to find this thread and hope to find some people to show me some trails. I like to ride through the woods or take fire roads and get out on the beach. Send me a message if you want to meet or know somewhere to take a ride. I'll take day, overnight and weekend trips.:driving:

yeah i just subscribed to the post. currently the truck is stock but have plans just gotta wait till college is out for the summer to work and make money to build my truck in to a off road worthy vehicle..still wouldn't mind coming out anytime though..

I live in Hampton and work at Hampton Chevrolet! I just put a TRD/Land Cruiser lift on my 99 Runner and waiting to add the 285/75/16's. I hope to make a 4x4 trip soon. Anyone in the area want to go for a little trail riding in the next month or so?

Yeah I know it looks pretty bad in the pic. It actually looks really good in person though. I still gotta put some 265/75/16 tires on it and that should close the gap in the rear to make it look less extreme.
