Handling characteristics

Ok, I'm still new to this 4Runner and am wondering about how it's handling.
95 3.0 Auto

Purchased about a month or so ago and was all stock at the time with a little bit of toe in running 31x10.5x15's.
Now I've just had a 4" rough country lift installed along with 33x12.5x15's. I also had the alignment done yesterday so all is well in regards to that.

This is what I'm now concerned about. The a$$ end feels all wishy-washy and is rather scary on the freeway. WTF, is this normal for 4Runners with a lift or is there something that needs to be done to fix this?

A lifted truck will be squishier, but if it's scary then you're a wimp or something is wrong.

Four inches is a lot of lift for a stock track width. What did the Rough Country lift consist of in the rear? Does it address the panhard bar?

When I first drove my 93 4Runner after installing the Rough Country lift it felt scary out of control. Found out that this is normal until the components settle.

Took about 1-3 months before it felt right again. Now I don't even notice it.

Be patient, and careful until the suspension settles. It will.

I didn't do the install but I know the coils where replaced and the panhard bar is still there. Now whether it was changed I don't know, I'll take another look at it.
