THIS GROUP BUY IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED.

We've had several of these in the past with great success. I've been running these LED's on my 4runner and have been extremely pleased with them. I'm getting ready to order some more, and wanted to extend the offer to anyone here who may be in the market.

HOW IT WORKS

I am not stocking these light bars, I am going to order direct from Hanma. I believe the lead time will be 2-3 weeks. I ask that you send Paypal as a gift to my account (I will send this out to those who participate). I will be placing the order on Tuesday, September 3. If I do not have your order details and money by 12am Tuesday your lights will not be ordered. All lights will be shipped to me, and I will separate them and get sent out to you as soon as possible. The price includes shipping within the US. Please send me a PM if you are interested and live outside the US.

If you are wanting in on this, please post a list of the lights you want along with the beam pattern (spot, flood, or combo). It will be assumed you want a combo unless otherwise stated.

I've listed the main differences in the description of each in the first post. The CREE LEDs are supposed to be higher quality, and the poly lens is more durable. The BE and BC series have better optics than the B series double row. On the single rows, the B series uses 5 watt LEDs compared to 10 watt in the BCS series (so twice the output for the same length light).

I can post more details tonight when I'm back at my computer.

If anyone needs dimensions or mounting information, let me know which bar you are interested in and I will provide what info I can.

How often do you do these group buys?

I'm actually visiting China in a few months and their warehouse is very close to the village my parents are from, I think I might visit to see if I can buy some lights individually and bring it back with me.

If they don't allow that, I may jump onto the next group buy.

Most likely this will be the only time I do one. Typically you can only order "cartons" which are 4-6 lights for the bigger bars., and 10-20 for the smaller ones. This makes it difficult to do a group buy like this because you can't order one of each item. They have agreed to let me order singles this time, but no guarantee that I'll be able to do it again.

I'm new to this lighting game, so I have a novice question... Does adding additional lights such as these put a major drain on your battery? Is an additional battery necessary/recommended?

The only reason I could see needing an additional battery is if you plan to leave the lights on for long periods of time without the truck running. These LED bars draw very little power so even when adding multiple lights it's not an issue as long as the truck us running. I have mine wired so that they only turn on when the ignition is on, so there's no risk of running the battery down.

I wouldn't say it adds major drain but yes, it will tax your battery depending on the size of the lights and the number of them. LED bars are pretty efficient with the small pods drawing a couple amps and the 40" bars pulling about 20A. If you're running the lights while you're driving/offroading you're fine. If you're going to be sitting somewhere for a while with only the lights on and you have 10 LED pods all running (picture UFO landing in a field) then yes, I could see where it may be a concern. Just hook the LEDs up via relays to the stock battery and it shouldn't be a concern.

The lights I'm ordering are going on the front bumper of my 88 Pickup (I'm also ordering a few for a couple locals). On my 4th gen 4runner, I've got the 31.5" double row mounted in the lower grill of the front bumper, and I've got two of the 6" single rows mounted under the rear as reverse lights. See this thread for info on how I've mounted mine and pics.

Looks good! I was thinking that is where I want to mount the 22", in the lower grill.
 
I don't need any more lights, but I have two 30" LED bars as side lighting from CREE and they have held up great so far. A lot of people think since it's Chinese it'll break right away and bad quality, but I've run them for hours at a time while offroading and no issue, and they are very bright. Only thing was the lights I got didn't come with a wiring harness, just the wires off the light bar. Not an issue since I usually remove the relays that come with the lights, just something to keep in mind (don't know if these come with wiring or not).

Thanks for the feedback!

These do not come with any wiring/relays/etc. They will have a positive and negative wire coming out of the housing that you will need to connect to your own relay/switch.
 
Think I'm ready for some lights now, I"ll take:
(2) 6" single row with Epistar LEDs (flood)
(1) BCS Series 30.5" (combo)
