HAppy Anniversary

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of when I became a 4Runner owner...I have met some good people, learned from and spent some quality time with members here. Thanks for all the info and posting up your ideas, builds, experiences and time. It has moulded me into a proud 4runner owner whose pockets are a bit lighter now..

And now it can do things I never thought I would try. We went and played at CC today. I got a ton of vids and pics to share. LMK if you want more, will post in my build.....

Im doing a play by play a bit so you can get a feel for todays run. There was about 10 obstacles with varying lengths and levels of difficulty. I took many lines this time that didn't get recorded bc I didn't need a spot. I could have gone around many of these but whats the point in that.

Did the guy recording the eyeball video on take one at 0:46 really call your beauty a jeep?!
MFer better be referring to the jeep in the back.. HAHAH

Good stuff, Chris. Congrats on the 1 year of ownership, and once again, I'm glad you chose not to sell the rig. That area looks like alot of fun... the terrain looks very similar to Moab. I'll definitely make it up there to wheel with you in the near future.

He did but I gave him a pass. He was one hell of a guy. He can be seen running in some of the videos getting footage, laying on his back, running back to video me while I got spotted. I bought him lunch after, he's all right by me.

Thanks I'm glad the same. I'm not sure how different it will look in the next year. I have relisted the tundra and have interested party coming mañana to look. Some funds may me available soon for further mods. Can't wait to get you up here and show you some stuff. There is a lot of technical stuff as you can see, I'm sure you'll love it. I'll have to let my videos speak for the terrain but it is a sweet place.

Not sure what you mean by lengthy. Loops and trails that interconnect with lots of places to bail. Different levels of difficulty from multiple mogul fields, drops, ledges, flexy spots, stuff I wouldn't think of. It took myself and several other more built rigs than me to go 4 miles or so about 3-5 hours depending on photos, breaks and rollovers one time. Yesterday the 3 of us did a similar loop in about 3 taking lots of footage. It'll be a while before I learn it all and tire of it.

Personally fun wise I think it's better than Moab because it's full on fear and adrenaline factor every 100 yards as mush as you want. Where in Moab I felt myself very anxious wanting more..the views of course don't compare but they aren't bad. Someday I'll get some T4R's out there to report

This is the other shot with a walk around. You can see how close the rear was, some flex, bumper shot and a little part at the end pulling out. I'm wondering if the rear end is acting normal there? Or if the e brake may be binding? The e locker was still on, just looks like a crab walk a little
