I don’t even recall the scenario that led me to call what’s his name a fag but JFC even my gay friends would have gotten over it by now. Crybaby to the max. Man. Up.
Am I a hypocrite for harboring hatred towards Ol Bone Spurs McFatass, maybe - maybe not, I’m of the opinion that tolerance of intolerance is cowardice so yeah, keep rustling.

You’re right...i had a 4runner some odd years AND actually did something about it...made it enjoyable beyond just myself by creating a forum over 15 years ago where everyone can participate and is now the #1 4runner forum on the planet!
But as life dictates, i have moved on due to family needs. Is that wrong? Is that a requirement in this Off-Topic section on this forum of mine?
Coincidentally, i also support our President of the United States of America because once he was elected, he also did something about it by keeping his promises. (And he made my bank account enjoyable too...which may mean that one day, I will own a 4runner again.)
Despite owning a 4runner, what have you done lately to benefit other members of this forum besides being a hypocrite and snowflake?

The quote you started this thread talks about hate, revenge, undiscriminated (included self) destruction, impossibility of redemption. So why did you post that?
To me, as a neutral member in this subject (to clarify, I'm not native English speaker, I'm not democrat nor republican, in fact, I'm not US citizen, I don't live in US, I'm not even white, my parents're inmigrants so do I) the quote you posted only have sense in a stubborn and intolerant person's mouth, with lack of common sense, depressed, consumed by hate and frustration, a person who doesn't care to sacrifice himself or his own people if that sacrifice can remove the current president from his functions. that person sounds like a suicide terrorist to me. With an opossition like that, I can clearly see Trump in the white house a second term.

Way back in high school, students, such as myself, were sometimes singled out for abuse because we were a minority. Outside of school, on the way to the transit stop, for example, there was occasional assault and robbery making for a long walk home. Through all this, the whole Mongoloid, Caucasoid, Negroid differences taught by some in my life didn’t dissuade me from caring about my friends, who came from a different place and/or didn’t look like me. In spite of what is stressed today in the schools and media, my friends and I experienced that acts of racism are not restricted to one group. People, no matter their hue or ethnicity, can be racist. Broken home, alcohol, drug abuse. I screwed up, made mistakes, felt anger, learned and later came to understand that it was a blessing to have lived where I did and when I did. I remember going to hear James Baldwin speak. He wasn’t necessarily well received by the community, but he, along with others, helped my friends and I to look at ourselves and other people in a different way, no matter appearance or socio-political status.
Such experiences gave me a personal understanding. So, today, foul epithets and personal attacks may make some feel better, may get the reaction, cred and notoriety they seek on social media, forums, among fellow feelers, etc. However, they are not likely to encourage others, including our imperfect elected and appointed leaders, to develop their strengths and correct their shortcomings. The added experiences of my extended family, who have lived in/visited every continent and dozens of countries, have led us all to believe our Constitutional Republic, while imperfect, truly is unique and the greatest hope for freedom in the world. We are proud to be Americans. No hyphen. “One day, here in America, I hope that we will see this and we will become one big family of Americans. Not white Americans, not black Americans, not Jewish or Gentile Americans, not Irish or Italian Americans, not Mexican Americans, not Puerto Rican Americans, but just Americans.”
Over five plus decades, we’ve seen good in the people we helped elect to local, state and national office. We have also found it in those with which we’ve disagreed. Sometimes we’ve failed. Most of the time, we’ve had the courage to persuade, collaborate and strive for change rather than name call and attempt to degrade because in attempting to degrade others we degrade ourselves and our position. Our efforts don’t always work, but they produce better results for us than ridicule which has stifled resolution and progress. From our experience, respectful persuasion and collaboration certainly work better than hateful speech.
Today, with that understanding, I witness others’ feelings, egos, influencing their lives to the point of rationalizing and externalizing their personal challenges through ridicule of others. At times, their goal appears to be to one up and put down those who disagree with them rather than provide a cogent argument for their position. They make appeals to the person which invalidate logical arguments. They spew hatred at those they disagree with or perhaps, deep down, feel threatened by. “Hate distorts the personality. Hate does something to the soul that causes one to lose his objectivity. The man who hates can’t think straight; the man who hates can’t reason right; the man who hates can’t see right; the man who hates can’t walk right.”

I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to be offended. I think anyone would. I only chimed in because it has already been discussed and continues to be brought up over and over. Not only do I think this is excessive for what was said, but I think this is being intentionally exaggerated out of some sort of personal grudge.

No, continuing to complain about a name someone called you for days after it occurred makes someone a snowflake.
If you are referring to the election of Trump, I am 'over it'. If you're referring to his continued role in world events and as US president, its not really something to 'get over' as it is very much still happening...

No intentional exaggeration or grudge here. First time I've mentioned anything about it.
Not meaning to harp on it. It's merely information that provides perspective on the content of the poster and discussion at hand.
I have no personal grudges herein nor elsewhere. I do enjoy the use of colorful, descriptive and crass language from time to time; however inflammatory it may be perceived it is intended to be purely illustrative and picturesque in a lighthearted manner.
Much of that is lost in the ether on such a medium as the interwebz; unfortunately and understandably given the nature of the medium.
When someone preaches so fervently, yet turns around and embody's that which they castigate so ardently- to the point of using MLK in a devious and sophomoric attempt to imbue vitriol in others; I simply must point out the fallacy in their logic and call them on it. As I would hope others would do the same for me.
Trump isn't going to destroy the planet, the country or anything other than your mindset. Don't give him so much power. Let it go.

Absolutely use my words to define my character; I do not not, nor have I ever used racist/hateful epithets to convey my opinions- I simply use a bit of crass language to paint a landscape with words. Purely descriptive in nature to convey my point with veracity in a somewhat comedic fashion.
My words do not completely define my character nor do Ndecents or anyone else's- but they do lend
Credence or detract from our character as a whole.
If you don't think there is a difference between the use of "circle jerk" as an adjective and the use of "fag" as a noun- obviously intended to offend- we can discuss it further.
A double standard it is not.
