My question is why? over the OEM looking one?
I guess how do you like the end result with different color switches?
They do have them, they were just out for a few weeks, the company not the switches.

Reading more about on in AOB, in the details it says the blue reverse only fit the 4th gen's, but it seems to sit pretty good for you, did you have any trouble with fitment?

They have some for the 5th gens. They fit great. And like someone else stated, the 2014s have blue dash lights - so they match almost perfectly.
great build ! my gobi should be delivered the 2nd week of September. super excited. Did you ever put on the rear ladder ? any pics ? When I ordered my gobi stealth I asked them for the from 40" cut out for the LED bar. Do the brackets you have on your roof rack picture are they included ? thanks

Thanks! I have not put the ladder on yet - I'm waiting until after I install my lift - which will hopefully be within the next month or two.
The rack will come with brackets to accommodate the light bar. You can kind of see them in one of my picts that has no light bar on the rack. On the picts with the light bar attached, however, I just used the ones that came with the Rigid light bar. They were a little lower in profile than the Gobi ones.

I have a similar one, as a 3 year old my dad had a 1980 Toyota 4x4, when he sold it I cried. He bought a brand spankin new 1986 4Runner SR5 which he still has to this day (along w/ a Tundra).
My first vehicle was a 1990 Toyota 4x4 Pickup, loved it, drove it through high school and college, no problems. Got my first job out of college and bought a 2000 4Runner Limited. A huge upgrade over my truck that had no A/C.
Traded it in and owned two Tundra's until my communte and gas prices stopped making any sense to own a huge V-8 truck.
So I am back in a 2014 Mag Gray Limited and loving it!
(That said I now head to the internet to get a license plate frame like yours!)

Probably not thread worthy, but I'm super excited - Just got back from the bank. My 2014 TE and my wife's 2010 GX are officially paid off. First time with no car payments for both of us since getting married.
Now some serious modding can begin....:target:

Just totally out of curiosity, what is the desire (other than removing an emotional burden), to pay off a car loan immediately? Generally speaking, with good credit, your interest should be pretty low/negligible. The dollar value of your monthly payment today, is much more valuable than that same dollar value 4-5 years from now when you look at appreciation of money and opportunity cost w/ another investment.

Hah - Is your name Greg by chance? You sound just like my investment guy. Your analysis is valid and completely rational, but my desire to pay off our cars is nothing more than my wife and I preferring to live as debt free as possible. We also make accelerated mortgage payments so that our house will be paid off within the next 7 years (Greg hates that). My business is debt free as well. We generally do not make larger purchases until we have saved the money to do so. Don't get me wrong, however, Greg gets quite a bit of our money also

Completely understood! I wasnt questioning the rational, just rather what it was based off of. Considering how fiscally unsound most Americans are, I totally respect that. I am younger (24), and I think that generally speaking (for good or bad), younger demographics are more comfortable maintaining a healthy/sustainable debt. Most debt people of any age get themselves into, isnt healthy/sustainable, which is a whole different story, but in the age of outrageous loan payments for things like education, I guess you have to learn to live with it.
One of my college majors was finance, and we actually received quite a bit of seminar work regarding living with such a burden. As a young person, what you can save/invest in the present is the most valuable time to do so. Any payment you have secured a guaranteed/fixed payment schedule on, especially one with low interest, will become increasing less expensive to you as time goes on. Sounds like Greg already talked your ear off on that one tho haha!

The build looks great. For the switch lights did you splice into the green wire on one of the existing switches? I have the same switches and want to make sure I slice into the right wire.

Yes - If I remember correctly I spliced into the green wire off of the wiper warmer switch for the switch illumination.

Finally got my Icon kit installed. I am extremely happy with how everything turned out!

Also, just FYI - I bought the new Tundra TRD shift knob hoping it would fit. The older ones were too long, but the new ones fit great.
All for now. Wondering how long before the wife notices.
