Great story and build! What did you do with your spare after going to 285/75's?

I still have a Nitto RG 285/70/17. There is no room for anything bigger in the spare location. I plan on doing a rear bumper at some point (waiting to see the Pelfry bumper), and will move up to 285/75 at that point.

Well... looks like this build thread is officially over for now. Said goodbye to my beloved 5th gen the other day and hello to a new Raptor. I am sure I will find my way back to a 4Runner one day, but I am loving the crap out of this new truck. I'm sure also, I will still be lurking on this forum daily for some time to come.

Anyway, some parting shots...

Nope - I sold as is. I do still have an awning, brand new set of aluminium RCI skids, and other parts that will be up for sale soon. Hope the snorkel works out for you!

Nice choice on the Raptor! I looked hard at one for awhile, but couldn’t justify the pricetag for what I’d do with it (haul kids around, but look cool as hell doing so!). Also, the local dealers were asking $5,000 plus over MSRP.

If you still have the awning with the Gobi brackets, I’d be interested. Perhaps the skids too.

Still have the skids and awning. Will be posting in the next day or so. As for price on the Raptor, they are starting to come down. Got mine for 1k under.

Wish we could've swapped some parts for a fee before you traded it in but glad to hear you're enjoying the raptor so far.. :bluejump:
