Has anyone changed/replaced the mirrors on a 1st gen?

My passenger side is broke and epoxied in the wrong position (previous owner) and my driver side is just kinda due for replacement....
How hard is this to do? Removal of door panel and then...........

Naw, take the panel off the outside of the mirror and unbolt the mirror stem from the door.

no mirror specific pics, they are plastic and adjustable.

I just replaced my drivers side mirror. The one that was on there would always end up tilted down into an unusable position anytime I went over like 30. It's easy to do. If yours is anything like mine (88 SR5) you should just be able to remove the plastic plate covering the bolts on the outside and then there are like two or three screws that you take off. BAM! Your mirror is now off... Now screw the new one on and replace the plastic piece. Adjust as needed and drink a cold one. I would recommend getting a decent mirror though. My replacement mirror still gets tilted down when I am on the freeway. I assume it's because I got the cheapest one I could find online (like $20) It's pretty annoying. Chrome pair?

Has anyone bought the chrome pair on ebay for like $25? I need a set too but Im worried about the quality, mine are ok just really faded and one is aftermarket, doesnt match.

Thanks. Point me in the direction of an online OEM mirror source and Ill point em out , small, black, ball n socket type of rotation.

ive had the mirrors off ebay for almost 2 years and they are holding up great, mine are black but my uncle got the crome ones i think they look kinda tacky but his are also holding up wonderfly. so dont be to worried about the quality
