Has anyone installed the OEM JBL Sub in a non-JBL 4th gen?

I'm interested in putting a sub in the back of my T4R and it doesn't have to be earth shattering by any means. Simply want something to add to the lower frequencies to deepen the sound a bit.

My situation is that I need to keep my cargo area as open as possible so I'd love to be able to throw a sub in one of the compartments in the back.

I found part number 86150-0w090 as the 06-08 sub box part. I'm wondering if anyone has ordered such an item and installed it with a simple amp?

I have a 2004 4runner and i'm wondering if it's possible to put the oem sub in the rear. Is the 06-08 rear the same as the 04 for a simple plug and play (amp of course)? I've read where some members had put an 8 inch aftermarket sub in there using the oem sub compartment and rit eally kicked it up a few notches; this is exactly what i'm interested in accomplishing if viable. I'm guessing the sub would fit in one of the cargo compartments?

The sub you are interested in fits in the passenger side rear quarter panel. The mounting points are already there with threaded inserts. You would also need to purchase and install the rear passenger side lower quarter panel trim piece (about $300) which is from the JBL synthesis 10 speaker system and has the speaker grill which matches up with the sub box and replaces the tool box normally found there. The JBL sub is a dual voice coil design and will need 2 small amps (or 1 stereo amp) receiving the same mono low frequency signal.
