Has anyone removed the running boards from a 2012 SR5?

Looks like the plastic "chrome" needs to come off as well.

How does this look?

Is it awkward around the wheel wells?

Interesting - I guess I mean both the running boards and the rocker panels.

Can you remove the running boards without removing the rocker panels?

Looks like removing the rocker panels exposes quite a bit of the undercarriage.

How do you like it?

Could you put rock rails on to make it look better?

Or could you get trim parts from a TE?

Building on Harpers reply, if all you are looking for is to remove the Running boards themselves, get on you back and slide under your vehicle. You will see 6 "nuts" 2 per brace. You can't miss them. Remove the nuts, brace will fall in your face. Running boards will fall on your chest. No need for photos, they will only be U-tube fodder......be safe.

You'll also learn about lifts, 305s, different wheels every month, dual batteries, 3m coverings, roof racks, gears, etc, etc.
