Has anyone removed their wiper cowl?

I've been searching fog a how-to or a thread that covered this but can't find one. Anyone have a good idea of how to do this? Trying to avoid breaking clips etc.

Does anyone know where to buy both left and right 2003 4Runner Windshield Wiper Cowl (both Extension pieces). Ive searched everywhere and only thing i can find it 2010 and up. There seems to be nothing on the web about the 4th gen 2003 4runner wiper cowl side pieces. Anyone have a link where to buy these? both are missing from my windshield vent cowl.
