Has anyone tried those aftermarket Projector headlights?

Toyota 4Runner 03-05 LED Halo Projector Headlights Black

Tried to search this, but couldn't find any info on the subject...

I'm looking to buy some after market projectors and these are all I have came across. Any Ideas, suggestions, thoughts??? What do you guys think of them? Anyone know how the fit, and quality? or any better ones you know of? Any Thoughts would help.

I would never trade the OEM stuff for this sort of junky stuff. These probably won't be as effective as just leaving the OEM headlights in there.

I just put them in my car about 1 week ago, I'll take some pictures in a bit if you'd like.

As per quality, I suppose the build quality is less than OEM, but in any case, they are great if your OEM ones are becoming yellow, or you're looking for a change to an aftermarket look.

The projector lens helps with visibility, that's for sure, I can see much further than before with the replacements compared to the OEM reflector housings.

Install was fairly easy, just one bolt below the headlight was harder to remove, since you had to remove part of the bumper and whatnot. Electrically, it was easy to install, the only wires needing splicing were the orange-corner lights, and the led's/halos.

Thanks for the info, I did the lights to have lower than oem quality, but with it not being a moving part or vital mechanical component I can overlook it to have some projectors. How was the fit btw?

The fit was pretty good, everything bolted right in, no problems

After owning them for about 2-3 months, I have noticed some issues.

However the company decided to seal them, they failed pretty badly. After a heavy rain and driving through it, both housings filled with moisture. The moisture was very thick, the light output must have been reduced by over 50%. Also, one of the led's in the 3-led row on top have burned out, most likely as a result of the moisture. I think it is due to one of the 8 holes that have caps over them, but those caps not being very tight and such.

All i'm saying at this point is they look pretty good, nice unique look, but the quality is definetly lower than OEM. Be wary.

Thanks for the update, I'm pretty sure i'm gonna take the dive after I get my Bumper installed !
