Has anyone used the coils from a LX450?

A junk yard I called says they have coils from a LX450 and he says they are about 1" shorter than 80 front coils, what do ya think?

they are the same as the lc coil, the lexus is just a rebadged land cruiser, but a direct answer to your question is no, i have not done that. and can;'t tell you either way for sure. but in theory in my own little head sounds like it should work, just make sure you get the wraps right.

I'm thinking i've heard from other forums that lx 450 springs are the same as a LC coil but it is way softer. It will sag too easy. Get in touch with Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. He has many sets on hand. He set my whole lift up for my 98 last week. Easy to deal with. Got 892's up front and Lc 8.5 wrap in back

How much did ur lc's run u from there? The junk yard guy told me they were an inch shorter and he wants 50 bucks shipped. what u think?

Mine were 50 bucks from cruiser outfitters. Call Kurt up hes very helpful and can get you the right wrap LC coils for your application

Sounds good, I'll give him a call. What wrap do you think I should go with if I have 2.5in spacers on the oem front?

I would suggest the 7.5 wrap. I went 8.5 and gained 4.25 inches when completely unloaded and spare tire removed.

Im unable to find lx450 coils in my area but found tjm lx450 lift coils online for a decent price, unsure if you can use both front and rear coils from the lx450? or just the rear? anyway

The coils that are used on T4Rs 3rd gen rear axle, are front coils from FJ80/FZJ80, & LX450. All coils from 91-97 have different color codes that represent different heights.
