Has your 4r been on a ferry?

Just thought I would post this for fun. My runner had a great time riding this ferry.

yup a few times, when I picked mine up on Cape Cod it had to take the ferry back to Nantucket (2.5hr boat ride) then when I moved back to GA.

i was a deckhand on that ferry

in high school. But , no my 3runner hasnt been on that ferry but is been on the Real McCoy ferry

Mine has been on the ferry to Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast a bunch already since I got it last August.

Tangent, but Sr5SuShi, I see from your sig pic that you have rear facing lights below the bumper. I recently did similar and love them. They're wired into the reverse lights and I can switch them manually.

yes, my runner has been on a ferry multiple times, but never thought to take a pic of it, seattle has the 3rd largest ferry fleet in world and is most used in total, it is the largest and most used in the united states. kind of just a part of everyday life here. If your from the WA and you haven't had your truck on a ferry at one point you must not do anythign, like ever.....

Yep. Us Northwesterners ride them all the time. I take my Runner on them all the time. Islands all around the Puget Sound, not to mention to make the trip shorter to the coast. I remember the first ferry I rode on outside of Washington. It was in Florida. Small and open air. Almost seemed like more of a novelty than anything else.

naw, as most of them were whales, i figured i'd go an meet their families. =-)

yeah, tons of islands and ferries out here, even private ones to some of the smaller exclusive islands, those are usually kind of cool

My T4R has never been on a ferry yet, but I've ridden both motorcycles and other vehicles when travling in/out of Alaska on the Alaska Marine Highway. It's basically a two day ride on the ferry from Haines, AK to Prince Rupert, Canada, and the ferry itself travels even further north and south than that. Fun trip, actually, although you're not allowed to go to the low decks where your vehicles are parked (some federal law or something).

I hope on some family driving trip to Alaska we'll take the Alaska Marine Highway again and then the T4R can experience the ride, ha.

I've had mine on the Seattle area ferries a few times. Once, this a-hole's alarm kept going off as we chugged over to Whidbey Island. Turned out that a-hole was me -- the rocking kept triggering my motion sensor. Whoops! :withstupid:

I've been on the Bainbridge ferry many times. Love the Harbour Public House.

I used to work at the Pub when I was in college. The kitchen got split tips with the waitstaff. Weekend $ was good (for a cook). Plus you got a free beer and meal for every shift. I still have a couple bar towels that I use as golf towels that I "borrowed" from work.

Mine has been on the Isle aux Coudres ferry in Quebec, the two Shelter Island Ferries, the Orient Point (NY) to New London (CT) ferry, and the Cape May (NJ) to Lewes (MD) ferry.

My Brazilian rig has been on several, but I honestly don't remember the names except for Bertioga-Guarujá. Some of those are like 100' shore-to-shore.

Took the ferry last month to go crabbing and fishing at San jacinto monument.... Never though anyone would say "got a pix of your t4r on a ferry?" so I didn't snap one.

But man the fishing and crabbing has changed over 5 years. It when from good to crap.
