Have you Have you had long lasting all terrains or mud terrains?

Please post the type of mud terrain or all terrain that you have had that has lasted more than the usuall a/t or m/t? please post because i am looking for next potential tire to last me. Thanks!!

My Bridgestone Revo's have about 15k on them now and you can hardly tell they've been used. I think Falls got about 50k+ miles out of his Revo's. Others have said their Nitto Teragraplers have lasted quite a while and BFG AT KO's apparently seem to last forever. Of course, a lot has to do with driving style.

I know I read tire reviews until I went crosseyed last summer. There are lots of good options out there. Best of luck with your search. :cheers:

Like above, it all depends on how you drive and how much abuse you put them through. Most ATs will give you at least 40-50k miles of reliable service. MTs tend to be less...about 30-40k miles?? This is how i view it.

No i like my generals i am just seein what else is out there to decide if i should stay with them or try something new. i really like the new goodyear duratracs. i dont know if those are considered at's or mt's. also i like the firestone destination mt. i heard u can expect 50k miles out of those!

Duratrac! you will love them! I searched for over a month for reviews on all types of AT's. I got lots of people telling me to run Revo's,GY Silent Armor, Toyo Open country/ Nitto TG or BFG. But I had already had the BFG AT and wasn't too impressed.... and the other tires didn't give me the look I was after (MT style but AT drivability) So I chose the GY Duratrac. After they were installed I knew I made the right choice! I get comments on them all the time. Go see them in person you will love them!

thanks those are definitley on the top of my list for next tires because they are under 200 each and will give me that mud terrain look with all terrain driveability as u said. what size are yours because i wanted to go 285/75/16 for my next set with my 3 inch lift

You need to balance long wear (high-mileage) against traction on the road. In order to last longer, high-mileage tires are made out of a harder compound that has less grip on the road, especially when wet. Softer tires grab the road better but wear away faster.

I'm over 45k on my Nittos and will most likey get another set this fall but the Dura tracs are on my short list if tires.

at different times & on different 4x4s,ive had , bridgestone apt & revos, bfg at & mt, kumho at,to name a few, the last time, i wanted something different than those, so i went with mickey thompson baja atz .(mtz was a little over kill for my uses) i really like the way they handle in all weather , highway & off road, theyre rated for 50,000, & are smooth & quiet. even though the load range is E, they are heavy but i like the way that gives the t4r a more truck/4x4 like feel, especially since theyre combined with my toytecs just my 2 cents

Yeah. I would be willing to put money on the fact that the TG's will last longer than the Duratracs. You have to give up something though since they have much more aggressive tread.
