Having a hard time finding a part-please help!

I am working on putting a new factory front bumper on because mine was all messed up from an accident I was in.

I already have the actual bumper and the black plastic filler part also that goes on top. I thought the black plastic part would come with the metal re-enforcement piece that keeps it on the bumper, but it didn't.

I've looked on Ebay and any other site that has 4Runner parts but I can't find it and I don't really even know what its called. Anyone know what I'm talking about and able to help me out as to where to look for this piece?

do you have a pic of or can you find a pic of the part? if not just go to your local toyota dealership and tell them what you need they will give you the part number. remember you don't have to buy it from them.

When I did my new bumper I had to look at the part diagram on the computer at the dealer and locate the correct hardware and such that I needed.

You could also see if you can pull up a chart on here.

Ok I'm still kind of confused even after looking at the diagram. I have the bumper and the top black plastic cover. There is a piece of metal that goes under the black plastic to keep it on the bumper..I guess?

I'm not really sure of what it is but I don't really see it on the diagram.

there is a black steel piece that goes on the top of tha bumper and the grayish plastic piece sits in the lip and secures to it. it should be number 13 that you sre looking for it is called a bumper filler and you should also get the number 16 parts one for each side if you dont have them already. hope this helps
also i had to buy one for mine and just to let you no there just under a hundred bucks and i couldnt find a aftermaket one i had to have a buddy of mine get it from toyota directly.

it is a thin piece of molded plastic.not 100% sure but i think it kinda braces out the bottom of the plastic part of the bumper i bought it not knowing what it was and didnt bother to put ot on. didnt see where it would affect anything.

ya, i was under my truck and noticed that peice, just curious if anyone knew what it did.
