Having a running problem. HELP!!!

I have an 87 4runner and I had the engine cleaned and detailed yesterday. After it started running bad. It is acting like it's misfiring. Did a spark test, all are sparking. Blew out vacuum lines, all are good. Checked if it's getting fuel, plenty of pressure. I don't know if it is having an injector problem or if the coil is burning out.

Can anyone shed some light on the subject.

how was the engine cleaned? was water used to rinse? if so, dry out all components of the electrical system with compresed air including all connections between plug , cap , wire and coil.

I've done that a couple times. Do you think the coil could be damaged? Someone else said he got his coil wet and had to buy a new one.

The engine light is not coming on.

Check distributer cap for carbon paths between cylinders (maybe best done in the dark) I would check the inside of the cap as well.

The guy I bought it from had a fuel pump cut off switch installed because he lived in a bed neighborhood and didn't want his truck getting stolen.

I checked that it seems fine.

Should I check the fuses and/or relay?
If so where are they?

Carbon paths? Not sure what you mean.
Did check inside cap, Cleaned lightly and still no change.

Check in the dark with the engine running for arcing . Purple flashes in the dark . No joke! There shouldn't be any purple flashes. Relays and fuses could not cause this problem. This has to be either fuel/air or spark related. Also check that the plug wires are on the right plugs! You may also have a fouled plug. If you have spark the coil is OK. Also check for a broken vacuum line. If they pulled off your plug wires to make cleaning easier you could have a bad wire if its the carbon string type. Old vacuum hoses can easily crack from being bumped so check for any hissing noises.
