Starting a Hawaii T4R Club
Open to all generations of 4runners!

We are planning a meet and greet also having a offroad trip at Kaena Point, Oahu!
SCHEDULED for May 28th, 2011

PM ME if you are interested to meet up

have a couple members already willing to meet up along with maybe hopefully having a small pot luck style get together.

well update to this saturday! ill still be going but there are a lot of members that wont be able to make it.

friend's got a nice lifted 5G. dunno if he ever takes it off road, though. next time i see him i'll let him know about this.
 
we might be doing a meet and greet on the 24th. we are still trying to get location and time.

this is a heads up to other t4rs :)

ill post more information as i get more from the 3rd gen side

I just returned from a two week stay on the North Shore in your beautiful state. 3rd time in two years! We plan to retire there in 8 years but in the meantime I'll have to settle for vacations. :cry:

One thing I noticed this last trip out is the number of 4Runners on the island. More than I expected to see! Of course, this could be due to the fact that I'm a new 4Runner owner (having transitioned from an FJ Cruiser) I did notice that one police officer had an FJ Cruiser as a cop car! Pretty cool!

Anyway, perhaps I'll join you in 8 years! We may be all driving electric 4Runners by then... ;)

argh. dunno if i can make it, son has baseball practice at that time and i'm helping coach his team.

April 1st, 2012 SUNDAY
OPEN TO ALL GENERATIONS T4R's

Kaena point trail run; Its a very easy - moderate trail.
Meet 12:00 PM at NEX Airport Parking Lot
Rollout 12:30 PM to Kaena Point, OAHU
Up to everyone if you guys want to bring drinks/food
Family Welcome!
Dont worry if its your first time out or if you are experienced; kaena point is a very easy trail and its always up to you how far you want to take it.
I'll be bringing straps just in case and hopefully the weather will be nice that day.

I should start a Big Island chapter! Do any of you guys have pics of the 5th 4runner on Oahu that has the 6" Fabtec lift on? There's only one in the state and it's on Oahu! Keeps your eyes open and sniper pics at all costs!
 
yea start up a big island chapter! lots of t4r's there! nice ones too.

but yea ive only seen a nice small lift black 5th gen.. but havent seen a fabtech lifted one.. if i do ill try to snipe a pic for you!

lets hope one day they will bring back the ferry!
 
dammit! i need to move to hawaii and i need to do it now. only visiting every summer for the last 7 years. you guys have a beautiful state, all the islands are awesome. have fun, aloha!

Bump for sunday. Everyone who confirmed if it's easier send me a PM of your number so that if anyone gets lost you can give me a call.
NEX parking lot is massive. We will be meeting away from the main mall in a corner somewhere on the opposite end of the mall where it's usually most empty.
Hope everyone can make it.
Remember I'll have a small very tiny grill if anyone wants to grill something.
