How was it? Just pick up my 2012 4runner today...

I had a great time out, sorry about all the inconveniences..
all in all there were some sick ass T4Rs that came out and although it was a short run it was still good fun.
Park Ranger killed it for my other buddies with the quad and **** but at least we got to go in!

looking at my phone now, i didnt really have a chance to get some "nice" photos of everyone's trucks and also everyone's runs but here is what i have and hopefully the other members took some as well!

Ok, I'll say it. I'm jealous! It's beautiful there. Love Hawaii. I'm going to have to try and go off roading next time I'm there.

nothing wrong with that.
im 2WD too, you still have options to go offroading and still keep up with the 4wd guys, just consider either an LSD or a locker.

just make sure if you go roading, make sure to go with a buddy so if you get stuck they can pull you out..

Looks fun. My wife and little boys are headed to Oahu for a late spring break surf trip this Friday.

long time viewer, first time post.
Figured it was time to register and meet some other Runners in the area.
I'm interested in trying some (legal) offroading on Oahu to really justify the TEP purchase...
are there any organized clubs here to trail with?

Not sure about groups. The above picture was at peacock flats. You can do a day trip, but we usually camp overnight. Make it a family event.

Before I got the 4R, I had a tacoma. So I usually go up with some of the TW oahu guys..

Are there any wheelin' places on Oahu that are "legal" any more? Used to hit all of the decent spots on the island (Helemano, Ewa Forest Reserve in Wahiawa, Alan Davis, Norfolks, Kaena Pt., etc.), seems all of them were blocked off or built up with homes and businesses back about 10 or so years ago!

Just got back from Honolulu/B.I., spotted about a million 4runners, but one stood out!

Who owns the black (I think) lifted 4r in Waimanalo across from the school? Passed it a few times on my way to nalo beach for the kids to swim!

Unfortunately, I didn't spock anyone with t4r.org decals, and after playing the 4runner game with the kids for 3 weeks (whenever you see on, you say "4RUNNER"! This gets really old after 2 days in Honolulu!!!!), needless to say, I actually stopped looking!!!

Yeah, last year it looked like someone passed and they had banners on the railing about it, then this year we pull in and the place is completely gutted from a fire.

Sad, really, they used to do a great job taking care of the beach when I was a kid. That was my favorite beach to go to (and bellows when it used to be open to the public ), used to surf there all the time (like 3 or 4 times a week over the summers as a teen!) with my friends!

Anyways, nice rig you got brah! I'll let you know when we come back next year!

Yes, still running this club hard. haha. Should be able to start doing meets/cruises. I am in the middle of an engine and transmission swap.
