Is there a minimum time after the last coat that you should start to peel? I read somewhere people said let it sit for 10 mins and then remove it.

This is my first experience with the pdip after people swear by it.



So you sprayed over everything and then just started to pick and peel? I heard WD40 helps... you just finger nail it?

Yep just tape around it and leave about an inch on all sides. If you do 6 coats or so it peels right off of the plastic. I used a small point on a plastic trim tool but I think tooth picks are ideal.

I let it dry for 15 minutes before peeling off. Just take your time when removing the excess

How hard it was to do the 3M wrap on the rails...did you do it yourself or had someone do it for you. I had a quote for $150 for the roof rails and $300 for the front and real valance. :help:

Suuuper easy. I didn't even use water. I did it in like 10 minutes and ended up with a few creases but they're not noticeable. $30 for the vinyl. I would definitely recommend diy especially with those prices

No I just cut the vinyl before it hit the track on the inside.
