Head Bolts

Anyone have any good suggestions on how to remove a seized on head bolt?

I am installing a new cam and HG but 2 of the bolts on the exhaust side wont budge. I used a 2 foot cheater bar on them and put about as much force on them as I feel comfortable with before i worry they will break off. I put some PB blaster on them and let em soak overnight but still no good.

I really do not want to need to buy a whole new head simply because of a $2 bolt that is stuck and break off inside. Come to think of it bolts have been a problem since invented, why hasnt anyone come out with a better idea? lol.

Any suggestions?

HEAT. Try a propane torch.

I thought about using that but was afraid of setting all that oil on fire lol.

Don't use propane. Use a mapp gas torch. Transfers heat way faster. :thumb3:

Screw both those use oxy acetylene more heat and more uses than both. But not cheap to get set up. But fun no offense to sv_dude or 92-sr5 but I think it's the best way to go if you can
