Head Gasket Problem

I have a 1995 Toyota 4-Runner. Im at about 120,000 miles.

The headgasket blew and leaked coolant into my engine.

I just found out today that there was a recall on this, but the recall was really old. Anyone have any experience with this recently? It would be a godsend if toyota would fix this for me.

I put in a new short block 20,000 miles ago.

I may be wrong, but I don't think recalls ever expire. I would print a copy of the recall (from the internet or wherever you found it) and take it to your toyota dealer's service manager.
