So Toyota's dropping a new motor in my 1991 4Runner on thier dime due to the HG Recall. It had 280k miles on it and ran perfect then all the sudden it started to rod knock. Anyhow, While the motor is out the dealer can slap parts in with out charging me so I am planning on TBelt. Water Pump, Clutch etc but I am wondering...Should I pony up the funds for new injecors while we are in there? How long do are the injectors typically good for, I run cleaner through the tank all the time. If anyone has any suggestions on what parts I should spend money on while Toyota is picking up the labor....Please let me know, thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.
