Just trying to get the right info to finish the job. Hope somebody can shed some light.
Got 2 new refurbished heads for 3l v6. The camshafts were already installed sealed and torqued to spec and the company that sold em to me said I did not have to bother with removing to install , yet when I went to drop the head bolts in they would not go in the holes because the camshaft is in the way. What gives? Are the people that sold me the heads on crack. The only way I can see em going in the holes is if I remove the camshaft yet I was told I would not have to do that.
...I gotta tell ya this truck is the most difficult vehicle I have ever worked on.
