Long story short (to avoid my embarrassment for the most part) the headlight adjustment screw on my driver side headlight was unscrewed to the point that it went passed the screw’s limit and now the housing/bulbs are moving freely inside the headlight. Still attached but freely tilting forward and back.
As you can probably assume due to the weight of the mount, the headlight is aimed significantly higher and shakes when driving down the road. I am sure I am aggravating plenty of drivers in front of me.
I have gone to the point of taking the entire light out and turning the screw while I have the mount pushed as closely as possible to try and rethread but have had no success.
My question is, if I were to bake the headlight and get inside there do I have a chance of getting this screw rethreaded? Or am I SOL and I need to just buy a new headlight?
Thanks in advance for yalls help.
