headlight adjustment?

My headlight output is pretty good with my sylvania silverstars but the light pattern seems a bit funny. Basically without my brights on it seems like my passenger side headlight goes much further than my driver side headlight ( kinda looks like this on the road at night _/). Ill try and get a picture but that is the best I can do for right now. I have tried adjusting them and then taking test drives and I can't seem to get an even light pattern. Also, when I aim my headlights at a wall or garage door to see if they are even, the look pretty even but the lights are in a similar pattern to what I see on the road (so basically that situation looks like this _/ _/)

Thoughts?

i have the same problem, my solution.... i added big power offroading lights that i mainly use.. thus i for get to turn on my headlights once and a while.... not much of a problem fixer... ha just saying i know what your talking about

i have heard that some headlights are actually designed like this to avoid glare to on coming traffic. probably have to check the DOT regulations to know if its true or not. If it is your only real option would be euro or JDM spec (assuming the are different) headlights.

What Stick Figure said is true the left light is designed to be aimed lower to avoid glare for oncoming traffic.

Yup, mine does the same thing. I thought it was weird at first but my buddy's 99 has the same light pattern. I have asked around and basically it is to keep the glare away from oncoming traffic.

Workshop diagrams of light cluster

Just wondering if any body has workshop manual drawings and instructions for the dis and re-assembly of the whole front light assemblies and grill/body work.
Not possible here to get it cheap or at all.

I don't have any manuals on how to disassemble the front grille and headlights, but it's real easy to do.

Follow the link below. I posted a reply there that shows you how to remove the grille and headlights. There's also a link in there on how to aim them if need be:

Thanks did it. My problem is i have to go to a second hand market to shop for replacement parts. Some of the parts is broken and held together with wire! I basically need to see what the original looked like. Real bummer that i missed this when purchasing the runner. >>>>>>Thanks Rock Slide checked the pics out in the link you posted and got the correct stuff from the market here. Cheers:D
