The other day I noticed the passenger side turn signal light was out (the one adjacent to the headlight, not the one in the bumper).
So I go buy bulbs, unscrew that screw that holds that assembly in and then wrestle with it for 15 minutes until I give up trying to get it out and decide to try again later.
The first part of my question is what's the trick to getting that sucker to let go? I got the most "give" by pulling on it from the headlight side but I didn't want to put my full force on it for fear of breaking it.
Anyway, I gave up on that, put the screw back in and then had to drive somewhere last night. Start the car up and notice the passenger headlight is now out. Great.
The high beam works but the low beam doesn't. The headlight's in there pretty solid, naturally, so I can't imagine even my prying would have wiggled something loose, but it's either a crazy coincidence or I did something to it.
So the second part of my question is, anybody got any idea what I might have done to screw that up and/or how to fix? I'll check the fuses, but wanted to see if I'm missing something else obvious.
Wish these were as easy as the tail lights.... :\
