Headlight inside moisture

Last January I had my left headlight replaced under warranty due to moisture getting inside. Moisture was on the inside of the lense near the top. The new one was fine until recently, same headlight now has moisture inside and warranty is expired. Any suggestions on where it's getting in and how to seal it up?

I have the same problem with my left head light..the moisture comes and goes. It used to drive me nuts. Thought it was the seals that go around the bulb sockets, but they appear fine. I just live with it now. Would like to fix it if possible though.

happened to me too. that's what made my decision to get a new set of headlights. that, and the fact that one headlight was yellow and the other had moisture. these aftermarket headlights i have now allow air to get in, so when it rains or i wash the truck, they get a little foggy temporarily. they were designed to do this so water never stays in them.

bake it open and black it out, other wise just bake the headlights for 10 mins at 260 and then squeeze the outter edges together some more till dry.

toyota OEM cost more, those are just replacements. to OP, my oven is too small to fit the headlight in so i dried it out & ran a bead of silicone around the edges. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-85913-Silicone-Adhesive-PowerBead/dp/B000HBM4BK/ref=pd_sbs_auto_38

Had a good amount of water in my drivers side head light about a month ago. My lenses are less than a year old thanks to the lovely deer that took them out. I wanted to black them out but didn't have the time.
I removed the drivers side headlight and brought it inside and dumped as much of the water out of it as I could get. Next I took a hairdryer and had it blowing in one bulb hole and exhausting out the other. Took about 30min to dry everything up. I put a coat of Vaseline on all of the rubber bulb grommets. Next I put a thin strip of black silicone around the entire lenses. I reinstalled the headlight and so far over a month later with no moisture inside. Honestly I think the Vaseline is what worked.

I dont think the headlight is leaking, the moisture is on the inside about 7% of the way up the lens and it hasnt rained. I think its condensation so there must be an airleak somewhere.

My driver side headlight housing allows moisture to get inside too. Enough to actually start dripping down the front interior clear plastic part. I figured I'll take them apart when it gets warmer and do the Black headlight mod.

To dry out housing I removed both bulbs and let a vacuum cleaner hose set in one or the other holes for bulb and let it pull air thru to dry out. The housing may need to be resealed.

I'm thinking that in the 10 years since the last post here, his headlights probably dried out all by themselves.
