Headlight Schematics

Can anybody get headlight drawings/schematics for the lowbeam and highbeam lights? Also, does anybody have the manual with instructions on how to remove said lights? Going to do some... modifications... and I'll need to know how they work first so I can rewire them. :

Bingo.

Bought an OEM headlamp off ebay for 23 bucks, if I screw it up I'll throw it away and sell the stuff.

HID was the one thing I really wanted on my truck, and now I'm going to have it one way or another.


Anyway, I think I've got all the wiring figured out, but I'm not an electrical engineer and was wondering what a few of the symbols were. I'm almost positive the way I've got it wired is the best way to do it, but there might be a couple slight changes depending on the symbols. Plus its bugging me and I just wanna know...

I have guesses as to what these stand for, could somebody tell me if I am correct or not?

The first one I believe means that the wire goes into a fuse box, and identifies which box it goes in to by the number.

No, that means the two wires join together at pin A4 of the IC4 harness to harness connector. The >> indicates the male side of the connector.

The 3rd symbol is a fuse, as you said.

I'll have to look up the 1st symbol you mentioned, though I believe it indicates a position on a junction block.


Also, if you search around, someone posted the entire wiring manual for the 4th generation. It includes a description of all the symbols.

That makes sense, apparently I was thinking too hard...

Anyway thanks for the help. Can't really start on my project until the end of the month when I get home, I'm in Minnesota for a while and my truck is still in Arizona... That and all my stuff is being shipped there...
