Headlight trouble

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with my headlights/gauge cluster. I just junked my old lifted surf and bought a different one. I have the field monitor w/ sunroof switch and front JDM front parking lights for sale, PM if interested. But anyways, I'm having trouble with the lights.

My front parking lights, tail lights, and gauge lights do not work no matter what. However, my brake lights work if brake pedal is pressed and my headlights and bright lights work as advertised. I tried testing the switch on the steering column, but with it being a Surf, the pins aren't the same. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing just reversed, and if so, all the pins checked good for continuity. I checked all the fuses and relays and they all checked good. I even checked the fuses and relays that have nothing to do with the headlights because this is driving me so crazy. I also checked all the wires that I could for chaffing, broken wires, etc and found nothing.

I was about to buy a new switch, but they're $750 new because you can only buy them from the dealer. Damn Japanese people and not having AutoZone.... But the reason I posted this was because I was wondering if anybody else has ever been in this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody's responding cause they're jealous of the surf...

My thoughts 90% sure I'm wrong, but who knows, bad ground and brake pedal is somehow completing the circuit?, or somewhere in the stalk switch?

i think most people are intimidated by the surf thing, and that you have already done what we would have by checking the connectors and looking for bad wires. if the wiring diagram you have(chances are is the same one we have) is not correct, then we have no way of offering you advice beyond where you stand right now. -you could rewire the system but that would be a major PITA
