Headlight warning sound not working on my 96.

My headlight warning sound stopped working recently. Twice I've left my lights on for several hours. I've tried all of the combinations of keys in or not, engine on or not, doors open or not, etc. cleaned the driver's side door swich and all of the doors are are working the dome light. I took off the door pillar and made sure the wiring harness was tightly connected. I've checked all of the fuses under the dash and hood. I like everything to be working. Where else could I check? Thanks!

I had this happen on my old 1st Gen pickup (same as 2nd Gen 4Runner). Attached to the back of the fuse box under the dash was a part called an Integration Relay that had gone bad. I replaced it with a junkyard unit and was back to itss old beeping self. I know a fair bit about these 3rd Gens but I cannot say if we have one. It should be an independent unit stuck on the back of the fusebox take a peek with a flashlight and see if you've got one.

Also if I remember correctly the "beeper" is a little box tucked in the dash somewhere. I found it once on another 4Runner I was working on. Hoping more people can lead you to the right spot.

It shows a light reminder relay below and to the left of the steering column in the 1997 wiring diagram. Hopefully its the same or close for a 1996. I'll try to upload the outline and schematic in a few.
