Headlights on when I unlock?

So I thought I lost my keys. I had a new one made and the old one deactivated. Well I didn't pay attention, but now when I unlock the 4Runner the headlights don't come on when I hit the remote. How do I do this again?

Side note, cost to have a key reprogrammed? (Found the first key I thought I lost (smacking my face!)

you have to have all keys i think when you reprogram. headlights do not turn on when the truck is unlocked with stock setup

You can reprogram yourself. I had a key made from a locksmith. I used the reprogram method on the site to program an oem key.
