Headlights: Stock to SilverStar Ultra (Pics)

While I sort out how to get (and afford) some HID projectors in my 2005 Limited, I found a good deal on a brand new set of 9006 & 9005 Sylvania SuperStar Ultras. (both sets for $40 delivered) I swapped them out today. The plan is to move the SSU 9006s down to the fogs when I get my HIDs installed for the low beams (after a projector retro-fit).

Thought I'd share the color difference with the 4Runner parked in the garage. I'll take some more shots later tonight. In these pics, the front of the truck is only about 2 feet from the garage door right now.

NICE...i was in autozone yesterday and was contemplating purchasing some for my low beams since I doubt projectys on the horizon....i may just get my lows and fogs done since I never use the highs living in the city. looks good, esp with the highs...tons of visuals |)

The only reason why I got HIDs is because halogens suck so badly in the rain.

Looks great! After installing my PIAA 520's with the super white bulbs, I was going to look into PIAA super whites for my headlights and fogs. I'll definitely look into the Silver Stars as well.

I had these in my runner before retro. They good, I still have set in highs but I rarely use them, they overpowered by projectors big time
