hearing a click at take-off

I just bought a 06 4runner sport edition 4wd v6 and everytime i take off when the truck is cranked up i hear a click and i was wondering what you guy could tell me it is. if im right it is the abs clicking on. thanks

I have an '08 V6 4x4 and it makes the same sound that I think you are describing. After the vehicle is started and first put into drive, there is a quick clicking sound once it gets to about 10mph. From the research I've done, this sound is normal and it's the ABS system running some test.

You are both correct, its the ABS check and its normal.
