Hey Guys,
Had an issue today and need some help. One of the heater coolant hoses popped off the engine block and when inspecting it looks like it wasn't on correctly to begin with? Like the previous owner patched it. You can see in the photos that the aluminum sleeve was just siliconed into the hole.
My question for you guys is whats the correct way these should go into the engine, and what would be the quick fix to get it going again? Was thinking of cleaning it up and putting some high temp silicone. Tried finding some schematics online but to no avail.
I'm down in Baja right now, getting it towed across the border and will address then. Didn't want to risk siliconing it back in and it pop off in the border line.
