This forum was helpful in the past, for that I thank you!
Same 4runner now with a new engine, water pump, and radiator.
At the back of the engine WATER was coming out at a very rapid rate. Looked to be escaping at the metal exhaust connection or something low. Lower than the hoses that are at the surface of the engine.
It took my coolant reservoir down to half with in 10 miles. But after filling it up it did not happen again for 100 miles. I filled it again and drove it around the snowy streets of Washington, no loss of fluid.
If its cold can a car burn threw its anti freeze?
There is a small box behind the battery and it is making weird noises.
So before I bring it in, I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with any problem of this nature? Is it the heater core.
Thanks again.
