Heater not blowing Hot

So I checked under the hood, and the lines going into and out of the cab were hot to the touch. The selector in the engine compartment moved and was in the "closed" position when on "cold" and was verticle when hot selected. I could hear a door move into place when I moved the selector to the "hot" and also watched under the dash and I could see the parts moving well when I moved the switch. I haven't taken apart the dash, but I'm wondering why you think it might not be getting hot. It isn't as cold as outside air, but I def will need it to get warmer than it is this winter. Any ideas what it may be? If I need to get into it further what do I need to take off to do so?
Thanks!

I recently had a similar issue. You may have tried this but:

I had the same symptoms as you.... ended up being the cable under the glovebox that is connected to the heater switch, got dislodged by a passenger's foot at some point. I tucked the cable into the little notch it's supposed to sit in and it seemed like the cable now had the appropriate tension on the line. Problem fixed.
